Welcome to part 2 of our Follower guide. In this article I will be talking about the spell casting Follower; the mystical Eirena. I recommend this Follower to any melee class in the game as she is very effective with her AOE (Area of Effect) spells when farming and also gives good buffs to the player.
Followers in Diablo 3 are weak when compared to the majestic ones Diablo 2 had, but that does not mean they can’t be made to be useful. You probably know by now that the only customizable things on your Follower are his armor and his skills, two things I have analyzed deeply to come up with a perfect combination.
This is part 1 of a 3 part series where I will be showing you how to make the most out of Kormac, the Templar.
Patch 1.0.5 has been brewing for some time now, and it recently went into testing mode. As of currently, you can log into the PTR (Public Test Realm) and test out the new patch by following the instructions here.
The patch is going to be adding some pretty neat end-game content to the game that was really fun to do in Diablo 2.
Have you guys seen the new announcement by Blizzard? I knew a buff to legendary items was on its way, but I never expected it to be this epic!
Blizzard has really listened to its fan base and is actually making Legendary items feel legendary now. Not only did they change their look to reflect what they do (like an ice damage crossbow will now appear frozen, etc), but also added a bunch of new unique affixes to them. Things like a chance to summon angels to help you on hit, burning the ground when walking, and even getting the “Shielding” affix found on elites. There are over 50 of these things, and I for one can’t wait to see what they are!
Blizzard has recently released a “System Preview” for Patch 1.0.4. I have read the full post and have mixed feelings about it, particularly against the Inferno nerfs (yet again).
The first thing that catches your eye when looking at the patch notes is that Magic Find and Gold Find are no longer shared in multiplayer. This was originally implemented so that players were unable to just equip MF gear and not contribute to the actual fight, but ended up backfiring and caused a lot of players to simply not play multiplayer. After all, if a player doesn’t contribute there is a pretty big chance that the fight will be lost, so I think it works out this way too.
