Didn't want to put this in the actual blog, but both of these games are incredible, and you can get them both in a bundle for a little as $1.00 at Indievania. The price of the pack has gone up again everywhere else, but I think they forgot about this instance of it.

I truly go for Skyrim mainly because it has more game design and you do so much in it that it blows your mind. MW3 is a multi-player shooter, and really requires little. I know the game designers are like "We fixed alot and made all this crap." but I don't beleive any of this only because there still is major problems with MW3. THis is just my opinion

Though I do love playing COD games ^-^

Well more are going to go for mw3, obviously because it's a worldwide multiplayer shooter, but I'd personally choose Skyrim only because I like games for how long the game has been designed and what you can do in it. (Plus I am a RPG fan) Also though I think MW3 and basically the whole COD series has some problems through out their games.

Yeah, I've taken that part of it out. I have yet to finish the game, so it's possible that it ties back in somehow (and/or that I will be mightily disappointed in the ending, which seems to be a common response to it). I think the statement that the dream sequences are a bit heavy handed is something that most people agree on, though.

There are some theories out there that the dream sequences have nothing to do with PTSD.

I had a lot of fun playing Amalur in the beginning. The sheer number of quests started to overwhelm me and I eventually switched to just the main quest line and faction quests. By the end, I was very ready to be done, and have no interest in going back and exploring the rest of the world of side quests.

Amalur's fun at what it does, but it all starts to feel the same after a while, which severely hurts its replayability. I in no way regret having played it, but unlike something like Skyrim, I think it fits better as the sort of game you might pick up on a $10 or $20 Steam sale, play for a weekend or two, and then forget about.
